galax-extra software package provides XQuery implementation with static typing - utilities, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install galax-extra
galax-extra is installed in your system.
Make ensure the galax-extra package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep galax-extra *
You will get with galax-extra package name, version, architecture and description in a table
